ABC – you and me
Paper Sundaes– layers.
Hi everyone, for today’s card I have used Brenda Pinnick papers, layering them not only to fit into the design sketch but I hope that they manage to convey the feeling of heat, hot sand and cooler waters.
All of course, for the benefit of this little gem of an image from Mo’s Digital Pencil - that of Bella & Bronte. I have her and her faithful friend on the beach, (well, I have put sand between their toes and paws!!!) LOL, and coloured her with my Promarkers to fit in with the chosen papers.
The mat behind the image itself is torn with a ‘wave design’ tearing ruler and that gorgeously heavy, red textured card hopefully brings out the glimpses of red in the main backing paper to emphasise the heat. This main/base backing paper is particularly fabulous, reminiscent of a weathered wooden changing hut. The rather appropriate sentiment is another wonderful creation from the very talented Paulette at createwithtlc and the shell & starfish are from my stash. I think that is about it for this card.
