Challenges:
Quixotic - sketch
Mo’s – image + fabric or lace
Shabby Tea Room – hot pink/turquoise/bright green
Papertake – stitching
Simon Says Stamp – checks
Pocket full of Posies – one for the girls.
Today’s card uses ‘Friday’s Child’, a beautiful image drawn by Mo Manning - and I have sent her on a picnic! She already had her lunch box/apple next to her etc., so gave her gingham picnic rugs to sit on whilst she shares her sandwiches with the small bird. Black stitching secures her ‘rugs’ into position and I made a gingham rose that has leaves courtesy of a Martha Stewart punch.
The image has been coloured with Promarkers though the fake stitches around the circumference of the circle have been drawn with a fine liner pen. I have also added extra subtle checks onto one of the frills of her skirt for good measure.
Have a great day everyone!
Tine :)
