Hi all, and today is a first here at Phindy's Place. Today is
Phabulous Phindy Phriday!!!!!!
So, what does that mean I hear you shout, it means 'anything goes' BUT you have to use one of Phindy's images. I am sure a lot of you have one lurking on your hard drive somewhere so today is the day to locate it, dust it off and get colouring! LOL If you haven't seen Phindy's Store why not pop over and pay her a visit and see if something takes your fancy.I have used 'Soo Good' to create this birthday card and I created my own banners, printing them off on the PC before cutting them to size. The border punch is of course a Martha Stewart PATP but the little flowers were created by colouring in card with Promarkers to match the image perfectly and punching it out using a Woodware Punch dotting the centre with a fineliner pen. The tiny leaves were also just bits of white card cut to shape & coloured with Promarkers to tie in with the flowers on the cake image itself. On this occasion my stitching is definitely the 'faux' variety around the outside of the 'woven' textured card base. For the inside of the card, having printed off my sentiment I drew a circle - well, 2 actually to create a plate and then drew on some crumbs and coloured it in with Promarkers as I did the main image.
Right then, it is over to you. We all look forward to seeing your Phindy creations this week, and as Phabulous Phindy Phriday (ie anything goes using a Phindy image) is to become a regular challenge for the first week of every month, it might help to make a note as it might be useful when planning ahead for any DT cards you need to make too. Hope to be able to leave you a comment soon and I thank you for any you leave me!
Tine :)
