Tilda Makes a Daisy Chain

Challenges

Hi everyone and this week’s card is another made with colours to celebrate the lovely sunny spring days we have been having.

I have used a Papermania pastel paper from the Colossal range as a ground and this has been matted onto silver mirri. Onto this I have combined a paper from Crafter’s Companion Easter set with papers from an old download which was available on the Internet.

A small flower punch supplied me with the loose daisies used at the top corners and which also fit into gaps in the daisy strewn grass paper Tilda stands on. A Martha Stewart punch border runs behind the CC paper to echo the outfit’s lacy edges and a circular Fiskars’ punch has been used to create the shape of the large daisy behind the figure. Tilda herself is holding a daisy chain created by colouring some yarn with my Promarkers and I then made the ‘daisies’ by punching small circles, colouring each side to look ‘daisy-like’ and then threaded them onto the now green yarn. As usual, Tilda is coloured with Promarkers .

Hope you like this week’s creation enough to leave a comment.
