Passion for ProMarkers - week 46 - The Young Ones

This is my first attempt at a Promarker Challenge, so I hope you like it!

The stamps used are Kanban's Patchwork Pals, stamping a separate front body for the little girl and then stamping her trousers, shoes and tiara individually before colouring in each with the Promarkers, assembling and 'dressing' her. The back image of the girl was then stamped individually in the same manner, with the back tiara sandwiched between the front and back images so it looks as if it sits at the front of her head.

She is stood at the front of the card on a 'carpet' of Kanban paper and the window aperture is highlighted with a silver peel off. The balloons were stamped & coloured onto acetate and the crochet thread 'strings' put into her hand. The top left hand side of the white card embossed by hand with circles to echo the balloon shapes.

The inside of the card has a border of card around the aperture to create a window frame and a white paper insert added (for 'To' and 'From' etc). It is onto this insert that stars were added which peep through the window when viewed from the front. The stamped and Promarker coloured balloons, also with strings attached, go down behind 2 stamped and Promarker coloured presents. These link to the third present under the aperture by means of a silver peel off which also runs up the right hand side of the insert.
