Magnolia Challenge 50 - Punch It Out

Hello again, and what another beautiful day of sunshine this weekend. Hope it is just as bright where you are. It is pure coincidence that I used the sun as inspiration for this week's challenge!

I have used a large circular Fiskars punch to create two circles of Papermania’s yellow vellum for my glowing sun and each layer has been cut from a slightly different shade of yellow, the deepest shade being for the outer layer. This was then matted onto circular gold mirri-board. The actual background paper was printed off from one of Artylicious’ CDs - the’ Damask Delights’ by Glenda Waterworth, and this was put onto square cardstock and the edges inked.
Tilda herself was coloured with my trusty Promarkers and kept as a blonde to co-ordinate with the colourway I chose this week. The co-ordinating ribbon and sunflower embellishment were from my stash and the messages which I chose to add as tabs to the edges of two sides were made on the PC.

Hope you like it and if you do, please leave a comment. Thanks. :)
