#69 All At Sea

This week my card uses the fun male image of 'Mr. Brown on Vacation', another well observed gem from Phindy. I hope you are all picking up on the fact that it is wonderfully hot where he is holidaying! Don't we all just 'know' this guy! LOL. The image is coloured with Promarkers of course & I have edged all of the vertical papers with Tim Holtz distress ink to hopefully add to the intense heat.....So I added a 'sun' to the sketch, but I needed it for his sunburn! LOL.

I know, I know, I could have had him taking 40 winks whilst on a mill pond & I have been terribly cruel and set him off drifting out to sea. LOL. See, even the added 'sun' is being lazy and is only half way up (or down), LOL. Well, any higher in the sky his and sunburn would be even worse, right? So I'm not as cruel as you thought now, eh?  LOL.  Gosh, that sea took a long time to colour in, but you know me, I just had to try to get my waves right!

I also made an insert for this card using a lightened version of the image where the 'to' & 'from' will be written on a layout which is a pared down version of the card front. The main sentiment (at the very top of the circle element), is one from TLC but the birthday wishes I added myself on the PC.
