#53 Diva Pig

Hi all, and my offering to Blogland today is this sassy pig as drawn by Phindy who I thought was just too perfect for this week's challenge at I ♥ Promarkers this week, 'paper piecing'. She is called 'Digi Piggy Diva' and is available here. Don't you think that her dress is just begging to be paper pieced!!! LOL. Well, this is me we are talking about so I did her fur stole and shoe too for good measure. LOL.

The porcine diva comes with the speech bubble, though without text, so I added the 'diva' sentiment from Ginger's House to the appropriate place before printing her off in the first instance onto card. I then printed the image twice more, this time onto mottled light grey paper. To the first of these print offs I coloured shading with my Promarkers onto her dress & shoe before giving it a spray with my Iridescent Spray & Sparkle from Crafter's Companion and whilst that was drying added the shading and highlights to the boa on the second print. The main image on the card was also coloured with Promarkers and once the paper dress, shoe and boa were cut out, they were stuck onto the card image.

I added the black & white scroll paper for the 'classy & sophisticated' feel, that this pig seems to believe she deserves, as well as the many blingy gems scattered about - and yet a few more still for good measure as her 'diamond' bracelet. The card base is a slightly pearlescent cardstock for even more 'glamour'.

Who wouldn't want a blingy dress like that eh? LOL
