Tilda and the Butterflies

Hi, and today, as you can see, Tilda is surrounded with butterflies. I have created something of an Oriental feel for this card I think, probably due to the reds, golds and blacks in the colour palette.

For the background paper I used a MCS image but added a couple of butterflies (think they are Monarchs), though one is now half hidden by Tilda’s mat, before printing it off. For the other butterflies, two have been stamped with 2 different images from Clear Choice Stamps onto card and then coloured with my Promarkers before being glazed with Anita’s Clear Gloss Finish, shaped and attached with silicone glue. Am I the only one whose glaze always sets hard and doesn’t want to come out even though it is kept in a supposedly airproof container? I digress. For the third butterfly, so carefully alighting upon a Promarkered rose stamp from Anna Griffin, I actually stamped it onto acetate and again used my Promarkers to colour it in. The two ribbons were from my stash.
