#73 CAS - Just because

Now, CAS is not my natural stomping ground - 'less might be more', but how much is 'less' before it becomes 'is that all?'  LOL.  So here is my take on our minimalist theme this week.  I chose this Digi Doodle image, paper-pieced his chef's trousers and coloured him, what colour there is, with Promarkers -with the exception of the flame which I thought it prudent to use fineliners for. (I made this before the new tiny nibs came out for Promarkers so watch this space as to how I get on with them). The sentiment on the front is one from Paulette at TLC and other than mounting it onto black shiny card & then the base card, that is that! LOL.

Well, not quite of course, as I continued the chef-y, minimalist idea onto the inside, creating the sentiment on the PC, adding an image from Arthur's Clipart and cutting it out with a Nestie, doing the 'fake-Nestie' thing to cut the finer border around it in orange to match the cooking pot and mounting it all on a rectangle of more black card.  Hopefully, it now looks like the Menu board outside a pub or somewhere.

Short but sweet sentiment on the Chef theme

I hope that you will try to join in with our CAS challenge this week as it certainly stretches the 'little grey cells' for most of us which just has to be a good thing, hasn't it?  Don't forget to use your Promarkers though. LOL.
